The Board of Waitakere United announced today the appointment of Chris Milicich as the Head Coach for the 2016/17 Premiership season.

The position attracted a large number of international and domestic applicants however the Board felt that Chris had the credentials to achieve the goals set by the club.

Milicich was handed the role last year after a change in the coaching structure and the Board agreed that he should be offered a further term for the upcoming season.

Milicich is delighted to be given the role for a further term and agrees with the Boards goals of having Waitakere United get back to the form shown in previous years with the key objective to regain a position in the OFC Champions League.

The appointment is effective immediately with Milicich commencing scouting duties and appointing his support staff.
